Why I am the worst…

Hey! Today has been busy. I’m going on a trip Wednesday as well as want to be as effective as possible before I go. I knocked a few crucial things off my To Do listing as well as have a great deal a lot more to do tomorrow. thankfully one of my phone calls was cancelled so I had additional time to be the worst.

Green veggies are great for ya. Guacamole is outstanding (understatement).

That’s why I had a stack of it at my mom’s yesterday. Ik kan niet genoeg krijgen.

I desire I would have taken some to go so I might have it at every meal!

This afternoon I was incredibly hungry as well as desired a great snack.

Snacks such as this need an appetizer so I started with yogurt… except I couldn’t choose on what flavor to have so I half opened two of my preferred yogurts to eat half of each. I meant on just folding the lid back as well as saving the rest for later.

I ate half as well as realized I just wished to surface off one of them. So, I peeled back the whole lid as well as saw I WAS eating A MOLDY YOGURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“This is exactly how I die…” was my very first thought.

As I slipped in as well as out of consciousness slowly going toward the light I kept in mind my good friend KT is a NP so I text her to ask if she would feed my feline when I got to Heaven.

She stated “no” since she hates cats however did state I most likely wouldn’t die so there’s that.

I was on the Runner’s world belVita Team. The team included RW as well as belVita workers – including the legendary Bart Yasso as well as um, me. Not sure exactly how I handled to snag an invite to this party, however I am so thankful I did!

First thing in the morning we headed as much as Mt. Hood. The race starts on the mountain HOOD as well as goes all the method to the COAST, hence the name.

I was in Van 1, runner #2. So, I was prepared to run very first thing since I would be going on the very first hand off.

We saw our very first runner begin as well as then headed to the hand off so I might get ready.

My very first leg was all downhill, which I love. I flew down the mountain thanks to gravity. I understood that I would regret going out so quick on leg 2 as well as 3, however I couldn’t assist it. I just focused on keeping my body relaxed as well as going with it. My speed is super quick for me as well as I recognize that’s as great as it gets so I am okay with it (even though my quads did get super tight after!).

Leg 1 done as well as done – time to cross it off the list!

Everyone in our van killed their very first leg! Laura Beachy was the last runner in our van. We handed off to Van #2 at the shift as well as wanted them luck on their very first legs.

By the time we completed our very first leg it was around 1pm as well as we were HUNGRY. We decided food before anything else as well as were on a objective to get fuel.

Someone spotted an Olive garden as well as it was quite much unanimous. We needed to make this happen.

We all believed going to the Olive garden was super funny though – nobody had been there in years. So, we needed to toast to the endless salad as well as bread-sticks.

I got this poultry Abruzzu-something or other meal as well as it was delicious.

From lunch we headed to Portland for a quick shower stop. Yes, you checked out that right – showers on a relay race??!! We had a hotel space to hold our stuff as well as had about a half an hour to shower leave our gross clothes as well as satisfy up with Van 2. Isn’t that fancy?! #PerksofRunningwiththeBigBoys

We had a long time to wait before the Van 2 back to 1 shift so we hung out, moisturized for our leg as well as enjoyed the fun HTC ambiance.

My second leg was relatively flat with a few rolling hills. however my legs felt quite heavy from the very first downhill leg. It was a bit difficult as well as I didn’t push it since I wished to save something in the storage tank for my last DARK leg (because I was scared).

But, I did try to surface strong as well as when I got close I sped it as much as hand off to Scott. I saw him just a bit bit away as well as heard our team number being called out so he might be ready. He had his arm prepared – we took our slap bracelet hand-off seriously – so I ran toward him as well as the volunteer reached out as well as grabbed me to stop me. They were directing web traffic as well as I assumption a vehicle was just provided the “go” as well as I didn’t see or hear it! I had to stop for a second as well as then made the hand-off on the other side of the street.

And it’s a great thing I didn’t die since right after I was done with leg 2 I satisfied visitor Jordan! She was really dealing with 4 legs!!

Our next runners completed up their legs just as it was getting dark. I believed my second leg would be the dark one, however that’s not exactly how the time worked out this time. Both of my previous relays had me doing my second run at night.

We got our last runner, handed off to the other team as well as then headed to the next huge transition.

After our van was done with leg 2 we tried to get some sleep before we had to run again. I came somewhat prepared with a sleep mask as well as ear plugs. except I should have brought a heavier jacket since I was freezing.

I’m quite excited that I did get a bit small bit of sleep – most likely about a 40minute power nap.

But it was quickly our turn to run again. I didn’t want to get out of the vehicle since it was so chilly as well as dark so I talked myself up as well as rallied.

I told everybody about my very first night leg experience as well as exactly how scared I was to run in the dark. Robert suggested I discover somebody to run with so as soon as I got the bracelet I took off to catch up with someone. A guy ended up coming up behind me as well as handing me my blinker that fell off as well as running ahead. So, I tried (desperately) to stay with him. I heard the miles tick off on my Garmin (but I couldn’t see it at all in the dark of night) 3 times. lastly I had to just autumn behind (I kinda believe he was pushing it so I couldn’t pass him however I just desired a friend!). I discovered somebody else as well as it turns out she was in my preferred van name.

She had to walk so I kept going. however I was terrified. I glanced back when to see if anyone was coming up behind me so I might sluggish to run with them however that was even scarier to just see pitch black behind you.

Moral of the story: Don’t look at where you’ve been, just keep going. #Dat is diep

Ik ben klaar!!! I just kept believing “Chase your fears” as well as I did it.

I was so thankful it was over!!! You don’t even know.

After my leg we stopped at a high institution to get coffee. I altered there as well as got eggs. It was tasty – particularly since we hadn’t eaten a genuine meal since yesterday at lunch as well as it was about 5am at this point.

Steph scored pancakes from one more quick stop.

From there I happily enjoyed cheering for my other team members. I had the difficult part done as well as might just enjoy the rest of the relay!!!

I assumption there was a team of red heads running! I spotted this van embellished with pro red head cheers. Boom.

When the last runner of our van was done we high-fived the other team as well as saw our other van off!

I tried one of the soft baked belVita breakfast biscuits in the van too. have you tried these? I only had the difficult ones that come 3 to a pack before. Rumor has it the banana bread flavor is the best.

Pro tip: put some Nutella on a crunchy belVita as well as your taste buds will say thanks to you.

There are a few shifts with locations for people to sleep. one of them even had a whole camping tent city! This was our last hand-off as well as I just took a peek.

Done as well as tired as well as headed to the coast!

The success lap!

Since our van was done as well as had a great deal of time before van 2 would be at the surface line we discovered a diner for breakfast. Het was geweldig.

And about an hour later we were at the beach! We made it as well as waited for our teammates to get there.

I had so so so much fun! It is incredible exactly how running as well as living in a van together for 24 hours can bring people together!! I’m thrilled to share this StitchFix evaluation with you since while I didn’t keep everything, I liked the three things I did keep. It was just like a stylist chosen them out for ME (hello, the point of the whole thing really working).

First the gown I put on best when I got my box…

My preferred part is the back. like the cut! This does make it challenging to wear a strapless bra with it so I purchased a stick on bra such as this one to wear.

I sent back these two tops. The floral one was as well flow-y as well as not lovely at all. The black/white storage tank was as well black as well as white

My second preferred piece from this month’s StitchFix shipment was this Tart Sinah French Terry Ruched Dress.

This is the very best since it’s very comfy as well as flattering. I like that my StitchFix stylist always sends me something of the body con variety. Oddly, it’s NOT that I like to wear tight clothes or show my curves however I have realized that body hugging cuts flatter my body a great deal much more than loose things.

I utilized to decline to wear anything body hugging since it made me so self conscious. But, after taking a look at pics of myself in loose or flow-y gowns I realized it made me look heavier. So, now I just choose it.

The third piece I kept was this Sanctuary lace detail Tank. I like a pop of lace so this was a champion all the way.

Check out the very adorable leopard flats I’m using too! They’re my new preferred thing. These are similar however not peep toe. These have the open toe however I’m not in like with the pattern as much.

Also, I like that StitchFix sends me a comply with up email after I’ve got my box to ask what I want to keep/send back. I get so numerous deliveries (and am so random) it’s simple to fail to remember as well as I appreciate it being so simple breezy!

Gisteravond ging ik dinsdag uit voor Taco Sushi.

Ik heb veel vragen via Instagram op mijn jurk. Het is echt een flatterende stijl! Het is van Charlotte Russe, hier zijn vergelijkbare opties: jurk 1 vergelijkbare snit / jurk 2 vergelijkbare snit met een leuke rug

Deze gebakken kreeftrol maakte mijn leven.

Toen nipte ik de rest van de avond vuurbal met deze coole magische ijsblokjes !!!

Heb je gehoord van magische ijsblokjes? Ze vertellen je wanneer je dronken bent !!

Nou, ze vertellen je niet goed, maar als je voor het eerst begint te drinken, ben je van: “Deze ijsblokjes zijn cool … dus zoals ik zei over …”

Je weet dat je dronken bent als je van je bent: “WOWWWWWAH! ZO GEWELDIG.” (En u gaat gewoon 20 minuten naar hen staren.)

Vanmorgen ging ik rennen, maar mijn enkel is willekeurig strak. Is het nu nog steeds het beste strak?! Ik heb het gevoel dat ik wat actieve afgifte -therapie nodig heb omdat het geen scherpe pijn is, gewoon vastzat, weet je dat?

Na mijn run maakte ik het meest epische ontbijtbroodje met bevroren wafels. Vroeger vierde ik Waffle woensdag alsof het religieuze vakantie was. Helaas is dat van me weggekomen, maar ik heb het vandaag goedgemaakt:

Wafels, kalkoenbacon, eiwitten – ondergedompeld in sriracha en siroop. Ja en ja.

Blijkbaar is vandaag de Nationale Cat Day, dus Vegas wordt voor de gelegenheid opgeruimd …

Vraag: Taco’s of sushi ?? Stemmen.
